Ian Paisley was the DUP leader from 1971 until 2008, and MP for North Antrim from 1970 until 2010 when he stood down. He was made a life peer in the 2010 dissolution honours[1].

Homeopathy

In March 2010, following the publication of the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee's report "Evidence Check 2: Homeopathy", Ian Paisley Snr signed Early Day Motion 908: Science and Technology Committee Report on Homeopathy, which was critical of the report[2].
