Houghton and Washington East

Houghton and Washington East is a former Parliamentary constituency abolished at the 2010 general election. Wards from the constituency went to the new constituencies of Houghton and Sunderland South and Washington and Sunderland West. The standing MP, Fraser Kemp (Labour), retired as an MP at the general election.
