Stella Creasy

Stella Creasy is the Labour Party MP for Walthamstow. She entered Parliament at the 2010 general election, the previous MP, Neil Gerrard (Labour), having stepped down.

She has a PhD in Social Psychology from the London School of Economics[1].

Science Funding

In October 2010, Stella Creasy signed Early Day Motions 707: Government Funding for UK Science[2], and 767: Science is Vital Campaign[3]. Both motions supported investment in science in the face of cuts anticipated in the coalition government's forthcoming spending review.
