Truro and St Austell is a former Parliamentary constituency. Following their review of parliamentary representation in Cornwall, the Boundary Commission for England have awarded the county one extra constituency. This meant the abolition of Truro and St Austell, and the creation of St Austell and Newquay and Truro and Falmouth.

The standing MP for Truro and St Austell, Matthew Taylor (Liberal Democrat), retired as an MP at the 2010 general election.
