Steve Reed is the Labour MP for Croydon North. He was first elected at the November 2012 by-election.

Abortion

In November 2012, the "Inside Croydon" blog sent a number of questions to the Croydon North by-election candidates. Mr Reed's answers can be found at: http://insidecroydon.com/2012/11/20/election-questions-steve-reed-labour/

On the issue of abortion, one question was "Should the term for abortion be shorter than 24 weeks?". Mr Reed answered simply "No."

Same-Sex Marriage

Mr Reed voted in favour of the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill at both its second reading in February 2013[1] and its third reading in May 2013[2].
