Rugby is a Parliamentary constituency, re-created in 2010 after previously being abolished in 1983. Following their review of parliamentary representation in Warwickshire, the Boundary Commission for England abolished the Rugby and Kenilworth seat, splitting the wards between the new seats of Rugby and Kenilworth and Southam.

The current MP is Mark Pawsey (Conservative).
