Genetically Modified Crops

In August 2015 the Scottish Parliament released a statement/press release stating that Mr Lochhead had announced that growing genetically modified (GM) crops would not be permitted in Scotland[1]. This was following an EU vote in January to allow member states and regions to make national decisions on GM crops.

On the day that the statement was released Mr Lochhead retweeted this: https://twitter.com/bellacaledonia/status/630321251899326464
