Paul Nuttall is a UKIP MEP for North West England, and former party chairman (September 2008 to November 2010) and party leader (November 2016 to June 2017). He was the UKIP candidate for Bootle in the 2010 and 2015 general elections, for Boston and Skegness in the 2017 general election, and stood in the 2011 Oldham East and Saddleworth by-election.

Climate Change

Speaking in the European Parliament on 14th December 2010, in a debate on the 2010 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Cancún, Nuttall talked about "scientists trying to suggest that one of the coldest Novembers we've seen in the last hundred years was actually caused by global warming". He further stated that "the fact of the matter is, is that the globe actually isn't warming. It hasn't warmed since 1998. So, I mean the game's up ... and what you're doing, is you're conning people, and it's a scam, and the people are finding you out".[1]
