Martyn Jones

Martyn Jones was the Labour MP for Clwyd South until standing down in 2010.

Jones has a BSc in microbiology from Liverpool Polytechnic, and an MSc from Trent Polytechnic. He worked in the brewing industry before becoming an MP, and was a member of the Institute of Biology, a professional body for biologists.[1][2]

Abortion

In May 2008 in the abortion amendments to the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill (now Act), Martyn Jones voted to keep the current time limit of 24 weeks in line with the scientific and medical consensus[3].
