View source for MPs who voted to reduce abortion limit from 24 weeks

The majority of MPs voted against adding a new paragraph to the May 2008 Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill to change the time limit for the legal termination of pregnancy from 24 weeks to 12, 16, 20 and 22 weeks. The bills were rejected.

The 24 week limit is recorded in the Abortion Act 1967.[2] This limit had most recently been set by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 1990.
