Joan Ryan

Joan Ryan is the Labour MP for Enfield North. She was re-elected at the 2015 general election, having previously been MP for the constituency from 1997 until 2010.


In May 2008 in the abortion amendments to the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill (now Act), Joan Ryan voted to keep the current time limit of 24 weeks in line with the scientific and medical consensus[1].
