Jackson Carlaw

Jackson Carlaw is a Scottish Conservative list MSP for the West of Scotland region. He also stood as a candidate in the Eastwood constituency in the 2003, 2007 and 2011 Scottish general elections.


On 10th November 2010, Jackson Carlaw spoke in a Parliamentary debate on the topic of Science, held on the same day as a Science and Parliament event organised by groups including the Royal Society of Chemistry. In his speech Carlaw spoke of young engineers and science clubs in schools, and the economic benefits of science graduates. The full text of his speech can be read at the references.[1][2]
