Angela Eagle is the Labour MP for Wallasey. She entered Parliament in 1992.

Angela Eagle is a patron of the Labour Humanist Group[1], and is an Honorary Associate of the National Secular Society[2].

Abortion

In May 2008 in the abortion amendments to the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill (now Act), Angela Eagle voted to keep the current time limit of 24 weeks in line with the scientific and medical consensus[3].

Same-Sex Marriage

Angela Eagle voted in favour of the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill at both its second reading in February 2013[4] and its third reading in May 2013[5].
